Davey Jones and Chainey, from Flipsidered and Miyu's comic Maggot Boy. i've been in a real MB mood lately, and thus have drawn a bumload of art for them. i hope it doesn't get creepy . . .

anyway, this seemed like a nicely striking idea for a picture, the two zombie crusaders at the end of a hard night's feeding. i was trying to capture the feeling of existential melancholy, the slight revulsion and above all the loneliness the zombies would feel about this part of their lives - the fact that to survive, and to stop themselves from harming others, they must feed on human flesh.

eh, they're just angsty.
